Dear Parents,
As you probably know, Governor Baker has announced that all Massachusetts schools will remain closed until Monday, May 4th.  It is so important that your child stay engaged in learning during this extended time away from the classroom.  I have invited all students to join our Google Classroom.  I will be posting assignments in the online classroom as soon as I get directives from our state and district administrators.  If your child has not joined our Google Classroom, please follow the directions below to help you child join our group.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at my email address: p.mott@schoolsofwestfield.org.

Thank you,
Mrs. Mott

Google Classroom
I will be posting assignments in Google Classroom in the near future.  If your child has not joined our online classroom, they need to do so as soon as possible.  They will need to log into their Westfield Public Schools email account and accept my invite.  In order to do that, your child will need to get on Google.com and click on the GMail icon in the waffle. They will see my invite waiting for them! When they open the invite, click JOIN and they will be placed in our classroom. Or you can use our class code vk6ojsg.

I am checking ST Math, iReady Reading, iReady Math, and Xtra Math daily, so please keep working. Log in through Clever as always. Also, please don't forget to read daily for at least 30 minutes per day.  When we return to school, I want you all to be in a great place to continue our learning.

Please access the district closure document below:

Be sure to have your child read for at least 30 minutes each day. As I tell the students, if you want to be a better reader you must READ! There is no secret formula.
This is a great resource for books:
